4 minors arrested for robbery in Valenzuela

/ 06:40 AM December 28, 2017

Four minors who robbed a house by passing themselves off as carolers on Christmas Day were arrested on Tuesday in Valenzuela City.

The four — three boys aged 15, 16 and 17, and a 15-year-old girl — admitted to stealing at least P23,000 worth of valuables after breaking into the house of businessman Michael Go Uy on Monteverde Industrial, Barangay Malinta on Monday.

The minors managed to get their loot past the guard by pretending to be carolers, said Senior Insp. Jose Romero Hizon, head of the Valenzuela police investigation unit. —Krixia Subingsubing
