PH should brace for expected typhoons every year—Duterte

President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday said the Filipino people might have to contend with tragedies brought about by weather disturbances every year.

He said the reality now was that the country is on the path of storms “like a window.”

“There is no end to the suffering of the Filipino (people). (We) might as well take it as (the) reality on the ground,” he said in a speech in Tubod, Lanao del Norte. /jpv
