Garcia said Bar-on’s visit further strengthened the ties between Cebu and Israel.

Last year, Cebu signed a sisterhood agreement with Reshon Lezion, the fourth biggest city of Israel.

Bar-on is also studying the proposal of his predecessor to hold skills training for Cebu policemen on security and counterterrorism.

Garcia said the training will surely help Cebu maintain its good peace and order situation.
