Two prevailing weather systems are forecast to bring scattered rain across the country, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Tuesday.

According to the state weather agency, a tail end of a cold front affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon would bring cloudy skies with scattered rain over Bicol Region, Quezon, Mindoro provinces, Marinduque, Romblon, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the province of Aurora would have cloudy skies with scattered rain due to the northeast monsoon.

Pagasa also said that the rest of Luzon would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers are expected over Visayas and Mindanao, it added.                         /kga
