Duterte to son, Paolo: ‘You are in a position to do what is right’

 DAVAO CITY – President Rodrigo Duterte said he had told resigned Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte that he was free to do what he thinks is right for him.

“You are in a position to do what is right. Kung ano lang ang tama sa iyo, gawin mo,” he recounted telling Paolo on Sunday night.

Paolo had resigned as vice mayor and made the announcement during the city council’s special session on Monday.                        /kga
