She’s been found.
The 17-year-old missing teenager, who was last seen in a coffee shop in Muntinlupa City, has been found safe in the province of Laguna on Sunday morning, a day before Christmas Day.
Southern Police District Director Chief Supt. Tomas Apolinario confirmed earlier reports that Patricia “Ica” Policarpio has been found purportedly by the San Pablo City police while doing their rounds.
Relatives of the teenager also confirmed that she has been found, as posted on the Facebook page of her sister, Bea.
Safe but stressed
San Pablo City police Chief Supt. Gil Torralba said Policarpio was found by officials of Barangay (village) 2B in a small eatery at dawn on Sunday.
Torralba said Policarpio was found safe but appeared to be a little “stressed.”
Authorities have not provided additional information as of posting since further investigation on this case is underway.
Policarpio was last seen at a coffee shop in a mall on East Service Road in Sucat, Muntinlupa at 10:53 p.m. last Thursday. /kga
