The regional director of the Technical Educational Skills Development Authority (Tesda) in Western Mindanao was found dead inside his rented house in Barangay Balangasan in Pagadian City, the police confirmed on Wednesday.
Chief Supt. Billy Beltran, the Western Mindanao police chief, said Edgar Aposaga Sales, 59, and a resident of Ozamiz City apparently died from cardiac arrest.
“The said cadaver was free from any wounds, abrasions and or contusions as potential indications of intentional death,” Beltran said, citing a report from the Pagadian City Police.
Police gathered that driver Victor Barredo went to fetch Sales on Tuesday morning. When Sales did not answer calls, Barredo went inside the house to check and found Sales lifeless on the bed.
P03 Joel Limbo, the investigator of the case, said they have asked the Pagadian City health office to conduct a post-mortem examination on Sales’ body to confirm the suspicion that he died of cardiac arrest.
