DAGUPAN CITY—A farm helper was killed on Tuesday night (Dec. 19) when his motorcyle crashed into a dump truck in Mangatarem town in Pangasinan province, police said.
Freddie Sacman, 29, died instantly when he was ran over by the larger vehicle after his motorcycle skidded under the truck. The motorcycle was dragged 10 meters from the point of impact.
Sacman was speeding along the northbound lane of the Tarlac-Pangasinan Road in Barangay (village) Casilagan about 9 p.m. when he collided with the truck that was traversing the road’s southbound lane, police said.
