Malabon earns ‘Seal of Good Governance’

Malabon City has been named one of the recipients of the 2017 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) by the Department of the Interior and Local Government.

Under Mayor Antolin Oreta III, Malabon earned the same distinction in 2015 and again accomplished the feat this year by excelling in four core areas: financial administration, social protection, disaster preparedness, and peace and order.


As an SGLG awardee, the local government shall be entitled to a share of the Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) meant to subsidize various city projects.
