The Office of the Vice President (OVP) is now certified by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

For the first time, the OVP passed the accreditation process and attained its ISO 9001:2015 certification.

“This is an affirmation of all the hard work that everyone has been doing,” said Vice President Leni Robredo said in a message to her staff.

“But this is also a challenge for us, to address opportunities for improvement. We are committing to be faithful to complying to all these,” Robredo further said.

The Vice President said that the certification would pave the way for streamlining processes and improving the various units under her office to deliver quality service to the public.

Earning the ISO 9001:2015 certification means that the OVP attained the international standard and requirements for a quality management system (QMS).

According to the definition on the ISO website, using the ISO 9001:2015 standard helps organizations ensure that customers receive consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.             /kga
