Rogue cops list: From PO1 to Senior Superintendent – Bato
Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa has confirmed submitting a list of unscrupulous policemen, including three superintendents, to President Rodrigo Duterte.
In an ambush interview on Monday, Dela Rosa bared that the highest police rank included in the list was a senior superintendent, but refused to give further details on the matter.
“Marami superintendent na naibigay ang pangalan eh. Magkita naman kami mamaya (ni Duterte)… Hindi lang superintendent hanggang sa PO1 na involved nandun,” Dela Rosa told reporters.
The PNP chief also expressed frustration over the rogue policemen, who continue to taint the image of the police institution.
“Frustrating talaga kasi bakit sila mag-i-insist na gumawa ng ganun marami nang nahuli at nakulong,” he said.
“Ibig sabihin they’re just risking their life, their future their career and the future of their family just because of the comfort na naibigay ng ilegal na droga. I don’t see the logic,” he added.

“At Wednesday, mga tatlong superintendent, about 90, siguro mga minimum of 60 police, umalis kayo sa PNP,” he said during his speech during the 39th birthday celebration of Senator Manny Pacquiao.
“I am starting the purging at huwag kayong ma-insulto kung hindi ka naman tinatamaan, huwag kang magalit kasi ako galit na sa dati eh,” he added. /kga
