Magnitude 5.1 quake rouses Surigao

A 5.1 magnitude earthquake jolted Surigao del Norte Sunday evening, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

The tectonic quake was recorded 36 kilometers northeast of Burgos town at 10:32 p.m. It had a depth of 14 kilometers.

The tremor was recorded at the following intensities:
