Raid in Maguindanao town yields drugs, guns
COTABATO CITY — A woman allegedly on a list of drug suspects was arrested in Datu Odin Sinsuat town in Maguindanao province, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Juvenal Azurin, PDEA director for the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, said PDEA agents and police arrested Vicky Sangkikay at her home to serve a warrant issued by a local court.
The lawmen seized some 50 grams of “shabu” (crystal meth) estimated to be worth at least P75,000.

They also seized a Bushmaster rifle, pistols and ammunition, financial documents, a passport and at least P3 million in cash.
Police said Sangkikay did not resist arrest. —Edwin Fernandez
