“This is to protect the vulnerable families since the province is at the nearest distance. This is for safety of the residents tonight,” Cedric Daep, chief of Albay Public Safety and Emergency Management Office said.

Since 8 a.m., at least 1,028 families or 5,077 persons have been evacuated in the towns of Manito, Guinobatan, Malilipot and Ligao City. # Ma. April Mier, @MaAprilMierINQ, Inquirer Southern Luzon
