Members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) have seized P5 million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Taguig City.

PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino on Friday said three “big-time” drug pushers were also arrested in the operation conducted on Valdez Street in Upper Bicutan on Wednesday, Dec. 13.

Aquino identified the suspects as Wena Barber, 42, Madel Espiritu, 32, and Reynaldo Domingo, 43.

During the operation, PDEA Regional Office National Capitol Region operatives confiscated suspected shabu weighing about one kilogram, with an estimated value of Php5 million, Aquino said.

The suspects would face criminal charges for the sale of dangerous drugs under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165) in court, according to the PDEA chief.
