Hundreds unloaded as MRT train suffers electrical failure
Up to 1,000 passengers were affected of the recent glitch of Metro Rail Transit (MRT) Line 3 on Thursday, its 16th technical problem for the month.
The MRT-3’s service report showed that its southbound train unloaded its passengers at GMA Kamuning Station at 8:18 a.m.
According to the report of Radyo Inquirer 990AM, the technical problem was caused by an electrical failure.
Another train, called a skip train, was reportedly deployed at 8:21 a.m. to accommodate the unloaded passengers.
So far, there have been only five days in December that the MRT did not have an issue. These were on Dec. 1, 4, 5, 11, and 13. /cbb
