UST nursing grads ace licensure exam
For the third consecutive time, the University of Santo Tomas (UST) was named as the top performing school in the nursing licensure exam in November 2017, obtaining a 100 percent passing rate, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said.
The UST has been a consistent top performing school in the said licensure exam since 2015, passing 402 examinees in 2015 and 324 in 2014.
On Tuesday, the PRC released the results of the November 2017 Nursing Licensure Exam. Out of that total number of 12,869 examinees, 5,875 of them passed including 12 Thomasians who were in the top 10.
Veronica Louise Necor clinched solo in second place with a rating of 88.0 percent.
Placing fifth and sixth are Angelica Ann Louise Ignacio and Erika Kitajima with percentage rates of 87.60 and 87.40 respectively.

Article continues after this advertisementSharing in the eight place were Krissa Isabel Gonzales and Sevie Heinrich Sagucio with 87.00 percentage.
Meanwhile, four Thomasians landed in the ninth spot with a percentage of 86.80. These are Dhonna Faye Arcelona, Jaedi Garcia, Erika Janine Lepiten, and Ciara Yumul.
Also making the cut were Clarissa Briones and Meri-Yee Liao who have 86.60 who placed tenth. /cbb
