Camarines Sur and Albay suspended classes on Wednesday due to tropical depression “Urduja.”
Camarines Sur Gov. Miguel Luis Villafuerte said classes on all levels in both public and private schools were suspended due to heavy rainfall.
Villafuerte said the suspension of classes was for the safety of the province, especially students.
Meanwhile, the Albay provincial government also suspended classes in preschool and elementary, both public and private, also due to heavy rain brought by Urduja.
University of Nueva Caceres in Naga City suspended classes in the elementary level, Dr. Nora Elizabeth Maniquiz, Vice President for Academic Affairs announced.
Classes in other levels and work operations will continue. /cbb
