Senate, House approve P3.7T national budget for 2018

The Senate and the House of Representatives have finally agreed on a reconciled version of the proposed P3.7-trillion national budget for 2018.

Members of the congressional bicameral conference committee led by Senator Loren Legarda, chair of the Senate committee on finance, spearheaded the signing of the bicameral report on the approved budget.

The bicam report will then be transmitted back to both chambers for ratification before sending it to President Rodrigo Duterte for signature.             /kga
