Supt. Sandro Tafalla, General Trias police chief, said investigators were following up the case which they initially believed was a robbery.

Tafalla said the incident was reported to the police Monday afternoon, after Gamos’ sister-in-law, Karen Bongalos, discovered the victims’ bodies inside their house in Kensington subdivision in Barangay (village) Navarro.

He said the victims’ phone, jewelry and car, a red Toyota Wigo, were missing. Investigators did not find any sign of forced entry, Tafalla said.

Forensics also did not find any open wounds on the victims, suggesting a possibility that they were strangled, he added. /cbb
