Cloudy with isolated rain all over on Monday
Three weather systems are seen to bring rain across the country, the state weather bureau said Monday.
The tail-end of a cold front affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon will bring cloudy skies with scattered and isolated rain in the Bicol region, Quezon, Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon, the Philippine Atmopsheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
The northeast monsoon or amihan that is affecting Northern and Central Luzon will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain over Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera region and Aurora province.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected over Metro Manila, the Ilocos region and the rest of Central Luzon and the rest of Calabarzon due to the northeast monsoon.
The intertropical convergence zone will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain and isolated rains over Visayas and Mindanao.
Article continues after this advertisementThe rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain especially over the eastern section.
Pagasa also issued a gale warning over the northeast and eastern seaboards of Northern Luzon and eastern seaboard of Central Luzon, and the eastern seaboard of Southern Luzon.
“Fishing boats and other small seacraft are advised not to venture out into the sea while larger sea vessels are alerted against big waves,” Pagasa said. /cbb
