LEGAZPI CITY — Agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested on Saturday night a drug pusher with 80 grams of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P500,000 in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) San Roque in this city, a PDEA official said Sunday.

Efren Manansala, alias “Mangga,” a resident of the said village and considered as a high-value target by PDEA, was nabbed in a buy-bust operation around 6:30 p.m., Christian Frivaldo, PDEA regional director, said.

According to Frivaldo, Manansala reportedly gets his drug supply from Ismael Onsad and Angelo Ariraya who were arrested with more than a kilo of shabu worth P7.7 million last Dec. 2 in Barangay Oro Site, also in Legazpi City. /je
