Pump prices of diesel and kerosene went down while gasoline prices remained unchanged after last week’s price hike.
Oil firms adjusted prices as early as midnight of Tuesday, with that of diesel going down by 30 centavos per liter.
As of press time on Monday, companies that announced price changes included Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., Seaoil Philippines Inc., Flying V, PTT Philippines Corp., Eastern Petroleum Corp., Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. and Petron Corp.
Also, Shell, Flying V, Seaoil and Petron reduced prices of kerosene by 30 centavos per liter.
Based on data from the Department of Energy, diesel prices in Metro Manila will now be in the range of P31.70 to P36.80 a liter while those of kerosene will be at P36.66 to P46.30 a liter.
Gasoline prices with an octane rating of 95 remain in the range of P43.00 to P52.86 a liter.
