A 15-year-old boy, who was an alleged victim of bullying, was caught smuggling a gun inside a Catholic school in San Juan City.

The boy was apprehended inside the St. John the Baptist School in Brgy. San Pedro Cruz by forces of the San Juan City Police last Friday at 4:20 p.m.

According to authorities, the boy was caught in possession of a caliber .38 gun without a serial number, loaded with six pieces of live ammunitions while inside their school premises.

The police said the suspect’s grandmother claimed that someone was bullying him outside their school, but refused to identify who the target was and where the gun was obtained.

San Juan Police Chief Lawrence Coop said the boy, who violated Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, is now in the custody of their local Social Welfare and Development office while authorities are still investigating the case. /je
