MANILA, Philippines—As United States Secretary Hillary Clinton makes her visit to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City, police conduct tight security in the area to maintain peace and order.

According to Police Officer 2 Ammy Diadnes of the Pasay City Police Station, 26 police officers from the Civil Disturbance Management unit led by Police Inspector William Masiglat have been deployed to make sure that protesters will not be able to stage rallies that will compromise the safety of Clinton.

Clinton arrived in Manila on Tuesday afternoon for her two-day visit to mark the 60th anniversary of the United States-Philippines Mutual Defense Treaty.
