Chickenpox, other ailments down participants of Asean Jamboree in Tagum
TAGUM CITY—Some 540 scouts attending the 6th Asean Jamboree here fell sick but only four had been found to have been afflicted with the highly-contagious chickenpox.
Dr. Arnel Florendo, the city health officer, said those found positive of chickenpox virus remained in a hospital but the others had been given the go-signal to return to the jamboree.
He said most of the ailments, such as headache, were due to the changing weather. /jpv
