6 tourists survive fall in ravine on Mount Pulag

BAGUIO CITY — Six tourists were hurt as their car fell down a 50-meter-deep ravine on their way home after visiting Mount Pulag in Bokod town, Benguet province on Friday afternoon (Nov. 24).

The Bokod Munipal Police Station identified the tourists – all from Cainta, Rizal – as Maria Felisa Anne Cruz, 28; Dale Kleyton Matutina, 28; Carl Jason E. Lumanog, 28; Arnel Luciano, 24; Hanz Justine Argamosa, 28 and Alexis Fante, 40.

Police said the driver of the car lost control in Barangay Ambangeg due to a mechanical problem.

The police did not say who was driving.

As of this posting, Fante and Matutina were still recuperating at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center.
