PA STABS SON
A 25-YEAR-OLD son is in critical condition after he was stabbed in the chest by his father during an altercation at their home in barangay Day-as, Cordova town last Monday.
Robert Dico was initially rushed to the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital and was later transferred to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) in Cebu City.
Police said Dico came home drunk. The father, Eustaquio Dico, 58, scolded his son for his drunken behavior.
The father and son argued. Eustaquio Dico took a knife and stabbed his son.
The elder Dico fled after the incident. He has yet to return home since the incident, said police. Correspondent Norman V. Mendoza
MAN HURT IN ERMITA STABBING
A 28-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed and wounded by an unidentified man in barangay Ermita, Cebu City, last Monday night.
Francis Dioquino sustained two stab wounds in the back.
Police said Dioquino was standing at the side of the road when an unidentified man approached him.
The man asked Dioquino what he was doing in the area.
When Dioquino didn’t answer, the man drew a knife and stabbed him.
A wounded Dioquino ran to his sister’s house. He was later brought to the Cebu City Medical Center.
The assailant fled after the attack.
