US Embassy in Manila closed on Nov. 23, Thanksgiving Day

The United States Embassy in Manila will be closed on Thursday in observance of an American holiday, its Information Office has said.

The United States Embassy in the Philippines and affiliated offices will be closed to the public on Friday, November 23, in observance of Thanksgiving, an American holiday,” the Embassy said in a statement on Wednesday.


Its offices will resume regular services on Friday, November 24.

Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday celebrated in the US every fourth Thursday of November.             /kga
