Three weather systems would continue to bring scattered to light rains across the country, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Wednesday.

In its weather bulletin, Pagasa said the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora and Quezon would still experience cloudy skies with scattered rains or thunderstorms due to a tail-end of a cold front affecting the eastern section of Luzon.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon or “hanging amihan” affecting extreme Northern Luzon would dump isolated light rains over partly cloudy to cloudy skies in Babuyan Island and Batanes.

The regions of ARMM and Soccsksargen, on the other, would have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to an inter-tropical convergence zone affecting Southern Mindanao.

The weather bureau said Metro Manila and the rest of the country would experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers. /kga
