Manila-Tuguegarao trips cancelled due to bad weather – MIAA

Two domestic flights between Manila and Tuguegarao City were cancelled on Tuesday morning amid the bad weather affecting the province.

The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) has announced the cancellation of the following flights:

Cebu Pacific  5J  506  Manila-Tuguegarao

Cebu Pacific  5J  507  Tuguegarao -Manila

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Tuesday that cloudy skies as well as rains and thunderstorms are imminent in most parts of the country due three weather systems – tail-end of a cold front, northeast monsoon or “hanging amihan”, and a trough of a low pressure area (LPA).

A tail-end of a cold front would cause overcast skies and scattered rains and thunderstorms over Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon.             /kga
