DID YOU KNOW: Restaurant most numerous in formal sector

According to  latest data released by the Philippine Statistics Authority, there are a total of 27,028 establishments in the formal sector of the economy engaged in accommodation and food service activities.

Among these industries, restaurants ranked first with 6,652 establishments, followed by fast-food chains with 4,477 establishments. —Marielle Medina
