Parts of the country will be cloudy and will experience isolated rain shower on Tuesday due to northeast monsoon affecting extreme Northern Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In its advisory issued at 4 a.m., Pagasa said the northeast monsoon will affect Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands, which will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be experiencing partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains due to “localized thunderstorms,” the weather bureau said.
Pagasa also warned of possible isolated floodings or landslides due to heavy rains in areas affected by the northeast monsoon. /jpv
