Three MRT-3 trains bog down in span of 2 hours

In just a matter of two hours, three Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT 3) trains stopped and unloaded its passengers on Friday morning.

At 9:00 a.m. and 9:06 a.m., two southbound trains experienced technical problems and unloaded passengers at GMA Kamuning and Ortigas stations, respectively, an MRT service report said.

This was followed by another glitch at 10:59 a.m. where another southbound train offloaded passengers at Buendia station.

There had been 16 recorded technical glitches since Monday, Nov. 6.

MRT operations have resumed with 13 available running trains as of 10:00 a.m. /jpv
