Airline annuls flights amid ‘Salome’

Several domestic flights between Manila and Tuguegarao City were called off due to the inclement weather on Friday.

The Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) announced that as of 10 a.m., the following flights have been cancelled:

Cebu Pacific 5J 506/507 Manila-Tuguegarao-Manila
Cebu Pacific 5J 504/505 Manila-Tuguegarao-Manila

The weather bureau said in its 8:00 a.m. bulletin that tropical storm “Salome” has maintained its strength and continues to move towards the West Philippine sea.

Tropical cyclone warning Signal No. 1 has been raised over Cavite, Batangas, Bataan, and Zambales. /kga
