Palace declares Nov. 8 holiday in Tacloban to remember ‘Yolanda’ victims

Malacañang has declared Wednesday as special non-working holiday in Tacloban City to commemorate the fourth anniversary of Supertyphoon “Yolanda.”

Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, by authority of President Rodrigo Duterte, signed Proclamation No 348, declaring holiday in Tacloban City to remember the “persons who perished and survived Supertyphoon Yolanda, and highlight the resilience of its people.”
