Senior Fire Officer (SFO) 2 Allan Salvaña said the fire had already consumed 90 percent of the house when they started to put off the blaze.

The local fire investigator also said that based on their initial investigation, the cause of fire could have stemmed from faulty electrical wirings as neighbors noticed flickering of lights at the living room which had been left unattended for several days.        /kga
