The city engineer of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, who survived an assassination attempt wants to transfer the venue of the hearing of his criminal case filed against former top officials of the province.
In a letter, Engr. Rufino Gravador asked President Rodrigo Duterte’s help to transfer the venue of the case from a Bulacan court for fear that the case would be influenced by the accused.
Former San Jose del Monte, Bulacan Mayor Reynaldo San Pedro, his brother former Barangay Chair Ricardo San Pedro and Councilor Reynaldo Policarpio are facing frustrated murder charges for the slay try on Gravador.
