Did You Know: DOH notes 74,307 flu-like illnesses

The Department of Health said 74,307 cases of influenza-like illnesses were reported nationwide from January to September this year.

This was 29.1 percent lower compared to the 104,798 cases reported during the same period in 2016.

Some 200 confirmed flu cases were also reported from January to September, 31 percent lower compared to 291 cases in 2016. —Marielle Medina
