MANILA, Philippines—Central and Southern Luzon, including Metro Manila, and the Visayas will experience rains as a low pressure area moves across the country, the state-run weather bureau said Tuesday morning.
In its 10:30 a.m. advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration, said the LPA was over eastern Visayas, about 60 kilometers north of Maasin, Southern Leyte.
Pagasa advised residents in Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and the Visayas to be prepared for widespread rains, which could trigger landslides and floods.
