‘Ramil’ floods Camarines Sur

LEGAZPI CITY – Heavy rain brought by Tropical Storm “Ramil” has caused flooding in Camarines Sur province, the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Bicol said Wednesday.

OCD Bicol Director Claudio Yucot said seven villages were submerged in Baao town and two villages were flooded in Balatan town.

Iriga City and Garchitorena town, also in Camarines Sur, each had one flooded village. In Caramoan, the flood was described as knee-deep.

There is also a reported power interruption in Lagonoy town. /cbb
