Yellow Team bags PDBC hoop title
THE Arnold de Asis-led Yellow Team backed by Royale Power Dream drubbed White-Blackwater, 71-57, Saturday night to win the Power Dealer Basketball Club (PDBC)-2011 Inter-color basketball tournament at the Sacred Heart School covered court.
Yellow completely dominated White that nobody would have recognized it was a titular match as the latter was unable to have a taste of lead in the entire 40-minute skirmish.
Top MVP contender Arnold De Asis canned 10 of his 18 points in the final period to lead Yellow while former UV Lancer Jack Rosal added 12 points.
Arnel Antipuesto and Aldren Gonzaga paced White with 12 points apiece while skipper Canjo Fernandez added 10 markers.
The Awarding Ceremony will be held at the Royal Concourse along Gorordo Ave., Cebu City on Dec. 9 with PDBC president Arnold “El Presidente” De Asis handing out the cash prizes, trophies and medals to the top performing teams and individuals.
