Lanzones Festival
Locals of Camiguin province give thanks to the abundant harvest of lanzones, which the province is known for. About 7 percent of Camiguin’s total land area is planted with lanzones trees. Events include an agrotourism and industrial fair, fun run, job fair and lanzones product exhibit and competition.

Apo Iraya Festival
The culture and traditions of the indigenous group Iraya Mangyan take center stage in the town of Abra de Ilog in Occidental Mindoro province. A supernatural being named Apo Iraya, who is believed to be guiding the Iraya Mangyans in their daily activities, is highlighted in the event.

Sambuokan Festival
A festival in Mati City, Davao Oriental province, celebrating the city’s bountiful harvest. “Sambuok” is derived from the Mandaya ethnic group term meaning unity. Events include a trade fair, livestock health congress, dance competition, sports fest, and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) night.
Oct. 27 to 28
Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan
A street dancing festival in Angeles City, Pampanga province. The festival was created in 1992 to rally Angeles folk to rise above the disaster brought about by Mt. Pinatubo’s eruptions.
