Archdiocese of Manila to cite Rosales
All parishes, shrines and community churches in the Archdiocese of Manila are dedicating November 21 as a day of thanksgiving for recently retired Manila Archbishop Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales.
In its official website, the Archdiocese of Manila announced that all Masses in parishes and chaplaincies under its jurisdiction will be for Rosales, its pastor for the past eight years, following the Missalette prepared by the Archdiocesan Liturgical Commission.
“A simple fellowship can follow after the Mass,” it added.
Cardinal Rosales was installed Archbishop of Manila on Nov. 21, 2003. Pope Benedict XVI recently accepted his retirement with the appointment of Imus Bishop Luis Antonio Tagle, a former member of a theological body once headed by the pontiff.
Tagle’s installation has been scheduled next month.
