Senate follows suit, suspends work over transport strike

Work in the Senate on Monday, October 16, is suspended due to the nationwide transport strike, Senate officer-in-charge Senator Gregorio Honasan said on Sunday.

Following this, Senator Panfilo Lacson, chair of the public order and dangerous drugs committee, said the hearing on the death of University of Santo Tomas (UST) law student Horacio ‘Atio’ Castillo III has been moved to Wednesday, October 18, at 9:30 a.m.
