Tuguegarao flights cancelled due to ‘Odette’

Several flights between Manila and Tuguegarao City were cancelled due to tropical depression “Odette” affecting Luzon, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) announced on Thursday.

Based on the Miaa advisory, the following flights of Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines Express were cancelled:

2P (PAL Express) 2014/2015 Manila-Tuguegarao-Manila

5J (Cebu Pacific) 504/505 Manila-Tuguegarao-Manila

5J (Cebu Pacific) 506/507 Manila-Tuguegarao-Manila

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Odette was last tracked 730 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City in Cagayan with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 65 kph. It was moving west at 26 kph.

Signal No. 1 was raised over Cagayan, including the Babuyan group of Islands, Isabela, Apayao, Abra, Kalinga, Mountain Province and Ifugao.

Odette, which was also seen to affect portions of the Visayas region, would cause cloudy skies with light to heavy rain and thunderstorms.
