An unidentified woman was found dead with several stab wounds in Pasig City early Tuesday morning.
A report reaching Chief Supt. Romulo Sapitula, Eastern Police District director, said the bloodied body of the victim was found by barangay security force member Leopoldo Rivera, 65, lying on the pavement beside the Evangelista creek located along corner F. Soriano Street in Barangay Palatiw at around 3:25 am.
Responding members of the Pasig Emergency Unit declared the woman dead on the spot.
The unidentified female victim was wearing denim shorts, violet sleeveless shirt, around 40 to 45 years old, and around 5’-2” in height, Pasig Police chief Senior Supt. Orlando Yebra Jr. said in the report.
Police have yet to identity the victim and the motive behind her killing. —Jodee A. Agoncillo
