CABANATUAN CITY — A village chairman, who was listed as a high value target in the police drug watch list, was killed on Wednesday by armed men riding on two motorcycles.

Barangay Pula chairman Reynaldo Delos Santos was standing at the roadside across the village hall when the suspects drove up and fired at him at 9:30 a.m.

Footage from a closed circuit television camera show the first gunman fire at the village official. The second gunman alighted from his motorcycle and shot Delos Santos again. Both suspects used handguns.

First responders rushed the victim to a local hospital but Delos Santos was declared dead on arrival. /je
