The threat reportedly targets the Jacinto campus, which serves as the home of the senior high school, college, post-graduate program and law school of AdDU.
All classes were immediately suspended and everyone was advised to evacuate the campus.
“AdDU Classes in Jacinto Campus called off for the rest of the day. Stay away until all is checked,” ADDU President Fr. Joel Tabora said in his social media account.
Authorities immediately responded to secure the campus and scan it for possible explosives.
The campus is just a few meters away from a night market where an explosion left at least 14 people dead in September 2016. /kga
