Robbery, child abuse raps on vs 15 Caloocan cops

Fifteen Caloocan City policemen have been charged in the Department of Justice with robbery, trespassing and child abuse for illegally raiding a house and using a minor to rob it on Sept. 7.

Public Attorneys Office chief Persida Acosta helped homeowner Gina Erobas file the complaint against Chief Insp. Timothy Aniway Jr., Senior Insp. Warren Peralta and their 13 subordinates, namely:

Police Officers 1 Ariel Furio, Marvin Poblete, Sherwin Rivera, Jay Gabanata, Francis Ruiz Quidic, Rene Llanto, Louie Serrano, Jaypee Tulay, Rohelio Julaton, Jay-R Sabangan, Jaime Natividad, Joey Leaban and Michael Miguel.

The 13 were caught on security video entering Erobas’ home without a warrant and allegedly allowing a boy to steal P26,000 worth of valuables, including P6,000 in cash. Donna Z. Pazzibugan
